Monroe County (Michigan) – How heartless! In Monroe County, Michigan, a mother dog was abandoned who probably should have continued nursing her puppies.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office – Michigan went public on Facebook on Tuesday. The police post includes surveillance video of the shelter where the dog was abandoned and a photo of the furry friend.
The doorbell camera footage shows a man stopping with his four-legged friend in front of the “Humane Society of Monroe County” around 1 a.m. on June 28th. Relaxed, with a fag in his mouth, he ties the animal to a sign post.
Then he slowly walks in the direction of the street, while the dog looks after him, irritated. She paces back and forth nervously, looks several times in the man’s direction. Then the clip ends.

The Humane Society of Monroe County employees discovered the furry friend around 7:10 a.m. that morning, according to the police department.
“The dog has since been treated by a vet who estimated her age to be around two years old,” the Facebook post said.
The bitch was also found to be still producing milk, indicating that she had recently nursed puppies.

“The dog was christened Mandy by Humane Society staff. Staff described Mandy as anxious and showing symptoms of separation anxiety. Mandy has since been placed in a temporary foster home,” law enforcement officials continued.
