Governor Roy Cooper has appointed Heath Nance to serve as district court judge in Judicial District 13 (Bladen, Brunswick, and Columbus Counties). He will fill the vacancy created by the appointment of Judge Ashley Gore to superior court.
Nance currently serves as chief assistant district attorney for Prosecutorial District 15. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his Master of Business Administration from Elon University, and his Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law.
