Agartala> Heavy polling in Tripura despite BJP’s threats and violence continuing on polling day. The Election Commission informed that 81.10 percent of people voted at 4:00 p.m., when polling was supposed to end. At that time, 1.35 lakh voters were standing in about 1500 booths. The final polling percentage may go up to 85. Last time the polling was 89.08 percent. This time a total of 3327 booths were arranged for around 28 lakh voters.
