Dubai: The Meteorological Center has warned that there is a possibility of heavy rain in some parts of the UAE. Meteorologists also said that there is a possibility of flooding in some areas. Orange alert has been declared in some places.

It rained in some parts of emirates like Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah. Heavy rains are likely to occur in eastern parts and mountainous areas. Authorities have advised people to avoid visiting areas prone to landslides and floods.
Authorities have requested people to take all necessary safety precautions. The warning is that heavy rain, wind, thunder and lightning may occur in the east and west. Officials asked people to slow down while driving and avoid visiting places like beaches and water bodies.
