Arrowhead Game Studios has released a new patch for Helldivers 2. This “quick update” was released on Steam on February 9th and is now also available for the PlayStation 5. The patch is intended to improve matchmaking and combat some crashes and is not the last update Helldivers 2 will see.
Matchmaking problems are not particularly democratic
But matchmaking is just one of many topics that players criticize. The PC optimization, some crashes and the anti-cheat software are also a thorn in the side of some fans.

On the game’s official Discord, game director Mikael Eriksson says that the patch is not yet a complete solution to the matchmaking problems. It could take a few days before the team can release a comprehensive solution.
