Musician Helmy Bakr attacked the artist, Hani Shaker, the former captain of the Musicians Syndicate, stressing that he did not join the syndicate at the time of his assumption of the position of the captain, but on the contrary, the union’s conditions worsened even more.
According to (Laha) magazine, Bakr said, in press statements: “Hani Shaker was not added to the Musicians Syndicate because he did not go to the Syndicate and the problems in it in general. We want to know the status of the Syndicate.
He continued, saying: “It was spent on telephone calls, and the Syndicate became a hotbed for everyone to commit mistakes and transgressions because there is no oversight, and whoever made mistakes must be held accountable and whoever covered them up as well.”
On the other hand, Hani Shaker is preparing to perform two concerts at once as part of the New Year’s celebrations in Lebanon, as Hani Shaker announced that he will go to Lebanon at the end of this month to perform two concerts on the 30th and 31st, accompanied by Maestro Bassam Badour.
During the last period, Hani Shaker presented a number of concerts, the most important of which was the concert of the Arab Music Festival, which he presented at the Fountain Theatre. During which he performed many songs, including “I love you dear”, “We will live”, “Every night”, “I don’t blame you”, “You are the reason”, “Promise from me”, “Invitation to joy”, “Don’t threaten you”, “I am My heart is for you, “My buyers”, “I asked you”, “Lassa Betaasali”, and other songs.
