The medical report issued by Tawam Governmental Hospital confirmed that “the patient from the Comoros Islands, at the age of 46, suffers from a defect in the cornea of the eye, and he currently needs to wear special lenses to reduce vision impairment, and then an urgent surgery will be performed for a corneal transplant.” For him, the cost of this type of lenses is 5,000 dirhams, and the patient is completely unable to pay the amount, and he must wear the lenses, otherwise he will suffer permanent blindness.

And the patient continued: «I went to the emergency department in Tawam Hospital, and the attending physician examined me, who decided to stay a day with them to conduct medical examinations and analyzes, and to find out the cause of the headache, and I was given some medications and painkillers, and then the doctor asked me if I had health problems, so I told him I had weakness. In sight, then he asked me to undergo an eye examination, to make sure that there were no health problems in them.
The patient added: «I stayed in the hospital, and all the tests and analyzes that the doctor requested of me were performed, which showed that I suffer from high pressure, in addition to a severe weakness in my vision, due to a defect in the work of the cornea of the eye, which was causing headaches frequently, and he asked me The doctor is required to perform a corneal transplant, otherwise I will become blind in the short term, but now he told me that I need to wear special lenses, which will maintain fixation of vision and maintain my level of vision, as it costs 5000 dirhams, and it must be obtained as soon as possible And this amount is large for me, given the weakness of my financial situation, and my inability to provide even a small part of the costs of the lenses.
(Abu Hamad) indicated that his family consists of three members, in addition to that he has been unemployed for two years, and he was working in a private agency in Al Ain with a salary of 5,000 dirhams, and his services were terminated due to the loss of the company in which he was working, and he gets financial assistance from his younger brother. , which barely meet the requirements of their daily lives, and he said, “I am currently completely unable to pay even a small part of the costs of the special lenses that I need.”
