The Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) is asking for the public’s help to find a 12-year-old girl who ran away Tuesday evening in the Cap-Rouge area.

Myriam Dupont has not been seen since she left her home around 5:40 p.m. She might use public transportation or walk.

“We have reason to fear that its security and development will be compromised,” indicates David Poitras, spokesperson for the SPVQ, in a press release.

Myriam Dupont is 5’7” (1.70 m) tall and weighs 138 lb (63 kg). She has shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes.

When she left her home, she was wearing black pants, a gray jacket with white writing and gray and white Nike shoes.

If you see this person, call 911 for immediate intervention.
