Help Needed for Young Migrant to Move to the United States: Relatives Seek Assistance

Relatives of the young migrant who was found by the United States Police require help to move to that country.

On a street in Minneapolis, the most populated city in the state of Minnesota, in the United States, the Police found unconscious to an Ecuadorian migrant.

Initially, authorities required help determining his identity. The Police published photographs of the young man on his social networks, who was found on November 24, until he was finally identified as Juan Diego Spinoza.

In the photos, the man is seen with probes and bruises in your face.

The organization 1800-Migrante appealed this December 4 to the solidarity of the people so that the young man’s relatives can travel in aid of the Ecuadorian.

Cooperation for security

On another topic, in Quito, Jonathan Parra, president of the Assembly’s International Relations Commission, met with Benjamín Williams, political officer; and, María Gabriela Egas, political specialist of the United States Embassy.

The diplomats expressed their interest and openness to work on bilateral agreements, some of which are already underway, to support the security issue, the Assembly reported.

They also indicated that the Embassy has an office dedicated to the problem of migration, with which it might be analyze the immigration situation of the country and look for solutions.
