Available in its final version since April 2022, the Unreal Engine 5 is clearly the engine to watch very closely. Between the demo of Matrix Awakens, the photorealistic workshop of a young independent artist or more recently Etchū-Daimon train station in Japan, the Unreal Engine 5 has already convinced us. Announced in 2010, canceled in 2011. Announced a second time in 2018, for a release in 2021. STALKER 2 is finally presented at E3 2021 with a release date set for April 2022, then December 2022. However, development has been ongoing for a few weeks since Ukrainian studio GSC Game World moved to the Czech Republic.
