Here is the Motorola Edge 50 family. Beautiful to touch and the (certified) Pantone color is visible

There has been a long discussion about the commercial innovation of colored smartphones in terms of a non-innovation. We make them different aesthetically to cover the fact that they are actually all the same. The Motorola Edge 50 family that debuted in Europe this week wants to demonstrate that colors really matter. The care in the choice of materials and the aesthetic impact of these devices make them something different. There are three of them, they are called motorola edge 50 ultra, motorola edge 50 pro and motorola edge 50 fusion. Aesthetically they are different, and you can feel it by touch. One model is in legeno, then there is a special edition pearl polymer finish handmade in Italy and vegan suede which would be a fake leather. There is a difference to the touch and you can feel it. The new family includes the world’s first smartphone with a camera and display certified by Pantone and developed in collaboration with their experts. Good news for designers and photography professionals.

What is Pantone certification.

Users can photograph and visualize the world exactly as they see it in reality, with Pantone-approved colors and skin tones, making it ideal for content creation. «Each device approved by Pantone – reads the note – has met Pantone’s evaluation and classification criteria, authentically simulating the entire range of Pantone colors in the real world».

How they are made?

Motorola edge 50 ultra is the most precious one, it has a starting price of 999 euros and has three colors Forest Grey, Nordic Wood and Peach Fuzz. As you can imagine, the second one is real wood, while the Peach one is the Pantone color of the year. Let’s say that it is a shame and perhaps senseless to cover them with a cover. As for the technical specifications, we are at the top of the ranking. Three sensors that include a 50MP main lens, a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 100x Super Zoom and a 50MP wide-angle lens with macro vision and a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus. The main lens, Motorola explains, combines pixels in a larger 2.4µm ultra-pixel size to absorb 20% more light and achieve excellent performance at night. The processor is a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.16 GB of RAM, expandable thanks to RAM Boost6 and up to 1 TB of storage space. The 6.7-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate and the 4500 battery.

The other Edge 50 Ultra.

The Motorola Edge pro, which is aimed at the mid-range, is equally beautiful but less powerful. It starts from 699 euros in the Black Beauty, Luxe Lavender and Moonlight Pearl colors. While
motorola edge 50 fusion will be on sale for 449 euros in the Forest Blue, Hot Pink and Marshmallow Blue colors. But there is no release date for the latter yet.

And artificial intelligence?

As we understand, it will arrive and will be animated by Google. In the coming weeks, users will be able to access some even more advanced AI4 editing tools directly on their smartphone through Google Photos, including: Magic Editor, Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur and more.
