Established in 1983 by Jos Hermans and his wife Frieda, the Genk-based transport company, previously a family-run business, has become a staple in the local logistics landscape. From its inception, Jos was a hands-on owner, often found behind the wheel, personally transporting petroleum products, general cargo, and fresh produce. Over the years, the company steadily grew, expanding its fleet and workforce. In 2011, the reins were passed on to their daughter, Ina, and her husband, Patrick, who were already integral parts of the business. Today, the company boasts a dedicated team of around 70 employees, including a large contingent of 65 Belgian drivers.
Carnass and Alken-Maes have been long-standing clients, relying on the company’s dependable service for their transport needs. The company has also invested in its own infrastructure, boasting a truck wash, fuel facilities, and a fully equipped garage to ensure operational efficiency.
