Lucas Hernández suffered a serious knee injury in Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League semi-final against Borussia Dortmund and will be out for several weeks. An MRI scan on Thursday revealed a torn cruciate ligament in the left knee, the French football club said. Hernández is missing PSG in the second leg next Tuesday and the “Équipe Tricolore” at the European Championships in the summer. France will be the opening group opponents of Austria’s national team on June 17th.

BVB won the semi-final first leg on Tuesday 1-0, Hernández was substituted injured before the break. The former FC Bayern professional will undergo an operation in the coming days, PSG announced – without providing any information about the downtime.
