SPÖ vice club boss Julia Herr cannot believe in a possible coalition with the ÖVP following the upcoming national elections. She sat “for months” on the ÖVP investigative committee and was able to read the “corruption of the ÖVP” in the chats, Herr said in the “Presse am Sonntag”: “Of course you can’t form a coalition with a party like that.”
Even following the U-Committee there was no end to it, Herr says: “The corruption carousel keeps turning.” The ÖVP must recognize that the state is not a self-service shop.
On the other hand, Herr also wants to stick to the traffic light coalition preferred by SPÖ leader Andreas Babler. When asked if she was worried that NEOS were almost ruling this out because of Babler, Herr said: “We’ll negotiate that once the election results are in.”
