Hezbollah said in a statement that the headquarters of the Beit Hillal Battalion, affiliated with the 769th Eastern Regional Brigade, was targeted with Katyusha missiles.

A Sky News Arabia correspondent in Jerusalem reported that sirens sounded in Kiryat Shmona and its surroundings, after ten missiles were launched from southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army said in a statement that Iron Dome intercepted four of the rockets that were fired towards Kiryat Shmona.

The Israeli army statement indicated that it “attacked an operational command headquarters belonging to the Radwan Force, and rocket launchers and infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization.”

On Friday, Hezbollah mourned two of its medics and a fighter who were killed in an Israeli bombing, which a security source said targeted a civil defense center affiliated with the party in southern Lebanon.

Since the day after the unprecedented attack launched by the “Hamas” movement on the Hebrew state on October 7, the Lebanese border has witnessed an escalation between “Hezbollah” and Israel.

Southern Lebanon and northern Israel witnessed a major escalation on February 14, with Israel launching a series of air strikes on several towns, killing at least 10 civilians and wounding 5 Hezbollah members, including a military official.

Since the start of the escalation, 276 people have been killed in Lebanon, including 191 Hezbollah members and 44 civilians, including 3 journalists, according to a tally compiled by Agence France-Presse.

In Israel, the army counted the deaths of 10 soldiers and 6 civilians.
