Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee wrote in a post on his account on the “X” platform: “Lebanese Independence Day, Eid. Anyway, did you return? And which Lebanon do you prefer?”
He added, “There is no doubt that this country has suffered and is suffering from repeated crises over the years and years, but this year Hezbollah came to add to the list of crises a crisis – as the Lebanese say, ‘This is what was missing’ – through military tension imposed on the borders that were not This has been the same for 16 years.”
Adraee continued, “In previous years, Hezbollah fumbled in offering the Lebanese cedar to the Iranians, but this year, the matter was somewhat strange, as Hezbollah sold the present and future of Lebanon in order to support Hamas in Gaza.”
He concluded, “There is no doubt that Hezbollah is putting Lebanon and its interests in real danger, in the service of those who committed murders and rapes against women and children.”
