In the company of the Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources, and the Secretary of the Astronomical Society of the State of Hidalgo, the head of the Executive Branch in the entity toured the Plaza Juárez de Pachuca, one of the city’s headquarters, equipped to observe the solar eclipse.
There, the importance of using certified lenses or appropriate telescopes was emphasized, in order not to cause any type of damage to the retina of the attendees, who waited for the peak of this astronomical event.
“With the measures that the authorities have recommended to us, let us enjoy this phenomenon. Today there are many people who are being guided to use telescopes and take care of their health,” mentioned the state president.
Throughout this visit, the authorities present witnessed the workshop “Construction of a cardboard camera”, given by Hugo David Pérez Ángeles, in addition to the conference “Influence of the moon on the journey of the black swift”, by Sirelda Cornejo García.
