Foreign news agencies reported that Palestinian Ministry of Health in the West Bank Latest death toll from fighting in Gaza revealed On Monday, November 13, 2023, stating that now The number of victims has risen to 11,180, including 4,609 children and 3,100 women, while 28,200 people have been injured.
According to the Ministry of Public Health’s disclosure Fifteen patients at Al-Shifa hospital in northern Gaza have died in the past few days. Including 6 newborn babies who died due to shortage of power and medical equipment. 202 medical personnel have died since the attacks began. 53 ambulances were damaged to the point of being unusable.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that They did not release a death toll on Sunday. Due to Israel’s attacks on several hospitals, an exact count is not possible.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Monday that They killed a group of Hamas fighters hiding among civilians at Al-Quds hospital, with the group attacking their soldiers from the hospital entrance.
“During the operation of the 188th Battalion, RPGs and small arms were fired at a group of soldiers directly from the direction of Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza City,” the IDF said in a statement. “The shooting attack was the work of a terrorist group that embedded itself among civilians at the entrance to the hospital.”
The IDF said soldiers returned fire. and 21 armed fighters were killed in the clashes. There were no casualties on the army side.
However, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) disputed this. The IDF’s claims are not true. There were no armed groups in Al-Quds Hospital and no shooting occurred from inside the hospital. Not only that The Israeli army’s statement also confirms that They continued to attack and surround the hospital. which violates international law
