On November 24, 2022, one of the defendants was in the middle of an altercation on the public highway with his partner when he was checked by the police. 36 grams of marijuana, one gram of cocaine, 2 telephones and 1,755 euros were discovered at his home, while at his home investigators found 18,480 euros, 403 grams of marijuana, a precision scale and sachets of conditioning.

55 grams of marijuana, 4.5 grams of cocaine, 540 euros and pepper spray were found among the other defendants.

According to investigators and customers interviewed, the three men, formally recognized on a photographic panel, had mainly been selling cocaine since March 1, 2022, even though they admitted to having sold 3.6 kg of cannabis. They deny having sold cocaine.

The Namur public prosecutor’s office requires 40 months in prison against 2 defendants and 30 months against the third for this drug trafficking in the form of criminal association.

Work sentences are required for the defendants, one of whom has already completed 7 months of preventive detention. The councils plead the acquittal for the prevention of sale in the form of association of criminals.

Judgment July 13.
