High Rep Schmidt rhetorically softens genocide in Srebrenica – Europe

The High Representative for Bosnia-Herzegovina, the former German Minister of Agriculture from the CSU, Christian Schmidt, is once more causing criticism in Bosnia-Herzegovina. At the Budapest Balkan Forum, he spoke of a “genocide-style situation” in Srebrenica. Christian Schmidt is responsible for implementing the Dayton Peace Agreement and protecting the institutions of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was attacked by Serbian and Croatian nationalists with the help of the states of Serbia and Croatia during the war (1992-1995).
