High-speed Car Chase in Bridel: Belgian Car Pursuit and Arrests

2023-12-18 10:15:13

It was around 9:15 p.m. Saturday evening when a police patrol surprised a suspicious car registered in Belgium between Bridel and Kopstal. Feeling observed, the driver hit the gas to escape the police. A chase began.

The vehicle was found damaged between Bridel and Steinsel but the three occupants had fled on foot. With the support of a helicopter and a police dog, the three fugitives were found in the forest and taken to the station.

The driver was quickly identified: it turned out that he was still a minor and, in fact, did not have a driving license. Additionally, the vehicle was neither insured nor properly registered. The prosecutor ordered the confiscation of the car and the drawing up of a report.
