High Turnout and Smooth Voting Process in Umm Al Quwain Elections

Umm Al Quwain, 5 October / WAM / His Excellency Abdul Aziz Rashid Al Saleh, Head of the Electoral Center in Umm Al Quwain, said that the second day of the elections witnessed a turnout of men, women, the elderly and people of determination, who cast their votes to choose who will represent them in the Federal National Council.

Al Saleh explained in statements to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that the Umm Al Quwain electoral center in the Union Hall was equipped with imaging devices and facial fingerprint verification devices, while the center’s workers were qualified to simplify and facilitate electoral procedures and assist voters, especially the elderly and people of determination, as they cast their votes.

The head of the electoral center in Umm Al Quwain pointed out that it only takes five minutes for a person to cast his vote, given the presence of a staff at the center that has been trained and qualified on how to conduct the electoral process.
