Mon Master, the national application platform for entry into a master’s degree, opens on January 29 to allow students to discover all the offers proposed for the 2024 school year. Submission of applications starts from February 26.
Created in 2023, monmaster.gouv.fr is the platform intended for students enrolling in the first year of a national master’s degree. This is the single site to consult the entire master’s training offer and to register.
From the January 29, 2024students can already consult the training offer for the start of the September 2024 school year.
Monmaster.gouv.fr lists around 3,500 master’s courses. The search can be done by mention, by course, by establishment or by place of training for example. Students have access to training expectations, application procedures, registration fees and even training capacity.
Submission of applications begins on February 26.
From this date, candidates will be able to formulate:
- 15 vows in classical training;
- and 15 vows in work-study training.
A master’s degree is equivalent to a wish, even if a student applies for several identical courses. However, it is possible to apply for several courses within the same master’s degree and this will only count as one wish.
Calendar for application submissions
- January 29, 2024 : opening of the platform to students who can consult the entire university offering;
- from February 26 to March 24 : candidates submit their applications according to a timetable common to all universities;
- from April 2 to May 28 : the establishments examine the applications;
- from June 4 to June 24 : admission phase with a redistribution of places not retained by the candidates. A candidate cannot accept two proposals simultaneously;
- from June 25 to July 31 : additional admission phase.
To know : for work-study training, the application examination and candidate admission phases last from April 2 to June 24, 2024.
A new complementary phase of admission in 2024
In 2024, the platform will offer an additional phase from June 25 to July 31. It will be aimed at candidates who have not yet definitively validated their wishes.
They will be able to formulate 10 new wishes.
- From June 25 to 30: candidates submit their new applications and classify those still pending;
- From July 1 to 12: establishments examine applications;
- From July 15 to 31: additional admission phase.
To know : wishes accepted provisionally are accepted definitively at the end of the complementary phase.
To note : the ministry specifies that establishments remain responsible for the admissions of candidates. The platform is a facilitating tool for connecting students and establishments; it does not use an algorithm.
