The Hangzhou Asian Games, the largest sports festival with 4.6 billion Asians, has come to a spectacular close.

The opening ceremony was held in a state-of-the-art splendid manner.

Starting today, our athletes, including swimming star Hwang Sun-woo and women’s epee song Sera, will begin competing for medals.

The national team, which appeared 16th in alphabetical order, smiled brightly and enjoyed the opening ceremony of the Asian Games.

The opening ceremony was held under the theme of ‘Waves in Asia.’

As a sign that Asian countries are working together to create a huge trend, Hangzhou’s history and the city’s characteristics were realized through 3D digital images and augmented reality technology.

The torch relay was a ‘smart competition’ that ambitiously brought new digital technologies to the fore.

A digital relay runner who ran in virtual reality from outside the stadium lit up with Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Wang Sun.

The two flames merged into one at the torch tower, and a 16-day heated battle began.

Our national team is poised to create a golden day starting today.

Starting with the modern pentathlon team, swimming star Hwang Sun-woo and women’s fencing epee’s Song Se-ra are competing for gold medals one after another.

About 12,500 athletes from 45 countries will compete fiercely until the 8th of next month, when the torch is extinguished.
