Hirving Lozano Shines in PSV’s Champions League Draw and Plays Key Role in Tying Goal

Hirving Lozano was once again a problem like in his best days at PSV.

The Mexican midfielder had a great game in the 1-1 draw between PSV Eindhoven and Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the Champions League.

Lozano started the game as a starter, playing 75 minutes against the German squad, who struggled a lot to stop him on the left side, where the Mexican once again showed how dangerous he can be.

From the first minutes, when PSV struggled to shake off Dortmund’s own lethargy and intensity, Lozano took charge and began to create problems and push Edin Terzic’s squad back.

The intensity of the Mexican was such that just after 22 minutes he was already reprimanded, but without lowering his arms to push his team forward.

MALEN HURT HIS EX TEAM!

Despite the Mexican’s effort in the first minutes and a blunder by Malik Tillman in almost a one-on-one against Walter Benítez, Dortmund took advantage to take the lead.

At 25, and after an individual play, Donyel Malen made space on the left to take a fair shot, but with a lot of power to beat the Argentine goalkeeper and make it 1-0 in favor of his team. Even so, PSV and Lozano did not give up.
