Two men were arrested by officials of the Coordination of Investigations of Crimes Against Persons, for the murder of farmer Víctor José García Moya (67), founder of Confagan (National Confederation of Farmers and Ranchers of Venezuela), which occurred in the afternoon. of last May 3 in Monagas.
The apprehended were identified as AL Mayor González (41), nicknamed Guajiro, (foreman of the victim’s farm) and PE Maurera Carreño (30), (victim’s son-in-law), who had a record for life threat.
The incident occurred after Víctor asked his son-in-law to return some vehicles that he had lent him for being the partner of his only daughter, which is why he hired three of his friends and the foreman of the La Victoria farm (owned of the victim), to assassinate him.
The foreman allowed the other murderers access to the farm: JA Rosales (30), nicknamed El Ruso; ES Rojas González (54), nicknamed El Comando, and a man nicknamed Tucusito, (all on the run), who entered the farm to later call Víctor and under false pretenses, told him that he should go to the place, since one of the cattle cattle was dying.
García arrived aboard his Toyota Fortuner truck, he was surprised by the perpetrators who shot him.
Then they sprayed it with diesel oil and burned it for a day, at dawn they collected all the bones that remained and threw them into a lagoon on the farm.

A police commission found 296 fragments of bone remains, a waistband, five wires, a metal pen and the victim’s truck.
The case was submitted to the 25th Prosecutor’s Office of the Monagas State Public Ministry.
