HK “Tukums” student Marks Olivers Mežiņš has made it to the U-18 national team

The Latvian national team consists of 3 goalkeepers, 7 defenders and 13 forwards, including a student of HK “Tukums” coached by Jānis Svitiņš, a forward Marks Olivers Mežinš. He himself says about entering the Latvian U-18 national team: “I have been seriously preparing for it all season. However, at the beginning of the season, there was not much confidence that I could be selected for this world championship, but I did everything I could, and then maybe that was enough. But this does not mean that you should stop working and improving yourself. Of course, the satisfaction is great, but as the head coach of the national team O. Sorokin himself said, this is not yet an achievement, the achievement will be when I have helped the national team to show the name of Latvia to the world!”
