HKTVmall teamed up with 39 restaurants to set up self-pickup points to process an additional 2,925 orders + help make up the rent of small shops with restaurant list
HKTVmall will join hands with 39 restaurants to set up self-pickup points to cope with the fifth wave of the COVID-19 outbreak in recent days, to relieve the shortage of manpower and the situation of full orders. Under the epidemic, many catering industries that need to suspend business cooperation have become short-term partners of “order self-pickup points” to support each other during the epidemic!
Cooperate with the restaurant! HKTVmall launches self-pickup points at restaurants in Hong Kong
Due to the impact of the epidemic, HKTVmall has been short of delivery manpower recently, and it can be said to be overwhelmed with delivery orders. Therefore, it has recently begun to actively develop self-pickup points. On February 27, it officially announced the recruitment of restaurants in Hong Kong as self-pickup partners. Closed restaurants help each other. On the one hand, HKTVmall will borrow the refrigerator in the restaurant to store frozen orders, and also hopes to ensure the inventory and provide commissions for self-pickup services, which can help make up the rent for additional income.
39 restaurants have signed up!
According to HKTVMall, as of last Friday (4th), 39 restaurants have been officially signed, and they will be put into service on Tuesday (8th), and it is expected that an additional 2,925 orders can be processed every day. Another 194 are still under negotiation. HKTVMall also praised the participating restaurant operators, saying that they needed to relearn how to handle orders, customer inquiries, etc. in a short period of time, and they were still willing to cooperate.
