In the afternoon of 9-2-2023, five officers from the Police Department of Fire Prevention & Rescue of Ho Chi Minh City Police Department received the task of speeding to move to Turkey to assist in rescue and search for victims in the earthquake disaster. out in this country.

Five officers of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department of Fire and Rescue and Public Security participated in the rescue mission in Turkey, including: Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Chi Thanh – Deputy Captain of Team 3; Major Nguyen Huu Dao – Officer of Area 1 Team; Captain Nguyen Truong Nam – Officer of Team 3; Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Van Trung – Officer of Team 3; Lieutenant Nguyen Nhat Phuong – Officer of Team 3.

According to the plan, five officers from the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department will move to Hanoi to gather with a group of 20 people from the police force.

The team participating in the rescue in Turkey are all experts in the country’s rescue force. As expected, on the evening of the same day, the delegation will fly to Turkey to join the rescue force of your country and other countries to urgently search for survivors trapped in the earthquake to get out.

Five officers of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department have directly participated in many anti-Semitism cases across the country, saving hundreds of lives. Previously, on February 6, 2023, a 7.9 magnitude earthquake occurred in southeastern Turkey, with the epicenter located in the town of Pazarcik (Kahramanmaras province). Neighboring areas continued to be heavily affected by the next 6 aftershocks. The earthquake caused damage to Turkey and Syria.

Up to now, the death toll in earthquakes in Turkey and Syria has reached more than 15,000 people.
