[e대한경제=오진주 기자] Hoban Group’s employee volunteer group, ‘Hoban Love Sharing’, announced on the 10th that it had conducted a volunteer activity for the elderly at Hoban Park in Seocho-gu together with the Seocho-gu Volunteer Center in Seoul on the 9th.
The Heat Hunting Cool Kit is an item made for the elderly to escape from the heat. The cool kit includes summer bedding, a pest control set, a neck cooler, and a samgyetang meal kit, and is packaged with a handwritten letter. The cool kit made on this day will be delivered to about 200 local seniors through general social welfare centers in Seocho-gu.
The expenses necessary for this activity were raised through employee donations. In particular, Hoban Love Sharing used the ‘Value Like Kakao’ donation box, a social contribution platform, so that many people can participate. If you leave comments and support on the Kakao Same Value website, Hoban Group donated 1,000 won.
Shin Dong-ju, head of Hoban Construction’s management planning team, who participated in volunteer activities with children on that day, said, “It was difficult to work with my children due to the influence of Corona 19, but I had a good time this time.” .
Meanwhile, Hoban Love Sharing has been conducting monthly volunteer activities in various fields such as support for the underprivileged and environmental cleanup activities since 2009. During the period of social distancing, they provided daily necessities and donations for the underprivileged without face-to-face.
