Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s promise that each player in the team will be rewarded with Rs 1 crore if the hosts India become the champions in the Hockey World Cup to be held at the Beersa Munda Hockey Ground in Odisha. The announcement was made after visiting the newly completed stadium complex in Rourkala. It took just nine months to complete the world-class Tayana complex.
225 rooms have been prepared with accommodation facilities for all the teams coming to the World Cup.
The chief minister reached the ground and interacted with the national team members present here.
An agreement has been reached with the Taj Group to provide the best services to the players coming to the World Cup.
