Charlotte,N.C. – Virginia Tech’s Women’s Tennis program is celebrating the academic achievements of six student-athletes who were recently named to the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team. The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the honors on Monday, recognizing the players’ dedication both on and off the court.
Semra aksu, a recent graduate with a degree in Business Information Technology, achieved a remarkable feat by earning her fourth All-ACC Academic Team selection. Aksu consistently demonstrated academic excellence throughout her four years as a Hokie.
Charlotte Cartledge,who completed her degree in Management Consulting and Analytics in May,also received recognition for the third time during her collegiate career. Her commitment to academics alongside her athletic pursuits is commendable.
