The company was founded out of necessity: Because the income that might be generated from agriculture was no longer sufficient for many companies, “in-house acquisition” was intended to ensure the progress of farms. In 1976, this idea led to the founding of the regional association of rural guest associations in Upper Austria (since 1999: regional association for farm holidays).
