A SURVEY conducted by the Transportation Policy Agency (BKT) of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) shows that this year’s Eid momentum will see a surge in the number of homecoming travelers. It is estimated that as many as 193 million people travel home.

Quoting a statement from the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi on the website www.dephub.go.id, national movement trends have the potential to reach 71.7% of Indonesia’s population or 193.6 million people. This figure has increased rapidly compared to the potential for community movement during Eid al-Fitr 2023, namely 123.8 million people.

Responding to this, Jasindo Insurance Company Secretary, Brellian Gema, explained that his party sees good opportunities in this Eid momentum. “We want to provide a sense of security for people traveling home, namely by providing appropriate protection solutions,” he said on Thursday (28/3).

His party released Jasindo Mudik which does not just provide standard protection like travel insurance in general. “This product provides protection against personal accidents, house fires and house theft,” said Brellian in a written statement, Thursday (28/3).

The purchasing process only requires access through the official Jasindo website. Apart from that, the claim procedure is also very simple.

For your information, in the claim process, the documents required are different for each guarantee. For personal accident benefits, participants must include a doctor’s/hospital letter accompanied by a payment receipt.

For fire and theft/robbery benefits, participants must attach photos of the incident, RT/RW certificate, and police certificate. (Z-2)
