Homeless man is said to have set fire to an empty house in Bregenz

According to police, homeless people may have started a fire that spread from a room on the first floor to other rooms and the attic. No one was injured and the cause of the fire has not yet been identified. “An effective forensic investigation was no longer possible,” said the police.

According to the executive, it is known that people without a permanent address regularly stay in the building on Arlbergstrasse. The fire department was called to the major operation around 10:30 a.m. Arlbergstrasse was closed to traffic while the fire was extinguished.
