Sadness and consternation, this is the official reaction of the services of the bishopric, following the damage observed at the exhibition “families with a thousand faces”, some twenty photographs on the diversity of couples, hung in the cloister of the cathedral Saint -Paul. An initiative that aims to promote the welcome that the Catholic Church intends to reserve for new forms of parenthood. Images shown without problem this summer in the library of the major seminary, but which are apparently not to the taste of all the faithful: this Tuesday, two shots were covered, in black felt, with the same sentence “the model of the family is a man a woman together they give life”. This is particularly the case with a portrait of a nine-year-old child, with his two fathers. And it was this boy who, on Tuesday during a visit, discovered the wrongdoing. The couple, and the kid, are obviously extremely shocked. The photographer immediately filed a complaint with the police for vandalism with an aggravating circumstance of homophobia.
