Honor has introduced a new configuration for the Honor MagicBook X16 2026 Ryzen Edition in China, featuring an AMD Ryzen 5 6600U processor. Priced affordably at $502, the 16-inch laptop integrates a 35W TDP power profile, a larger 60Wh battery, and a lightweight 1.69kg chassis, though an international launch timeline remains unannounced.

At the silicon level, the choice of the AMD Ryzen 5 6600U places this machine in an interesting architectural bracket. Built on the Zen 3+ microarchitecture, the 6600U is technically a lower-wattage sibling to the Ryzen 5 6600H found inside the international 2025 iteration of the X16. Honor bridges this performance gap by implementing a configured 35W Thermal Design Power (TDP) profile.

Coupled with the Zen 3+ cores is the integrated Radeon 660M iGPU, driven by the RDNA 2 architecture. This is backed by 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, ensuring memory bandwidth keeps pace with multi-threaded tasks.

Display and Chassis: Balancing Portability with Core Specs

Mobility is a primary focus for this mid-tier release. Honor managed to shave down the physical footprint, bringing the weight of the device to roughly 1.69kg (3.72 lbs) while maintaining a slim profile.
