The new Chinese Honor X8b has been released. One of its distinguishing features is the capsule cutout that supports Magic Capsule notifications. This is an analogue of the famous Dynamic Island notch in modern iPhones, writes Gizmochina.
A 50 MP front camera is hidden inside the dynamic cutout. You rarely see this even in flagships. At the back there is a triple camera with a 108 MP main sensor.
The screen is large, and, what’s nice, it’s an AMOLED panel, not an IPS, as is often the case in gadgets in the mid-budget price segment. The screen refresh rate is 90 Hz.
Among the minuses, the modest hardware stands out – the smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 680. The chip was introduced back in 2021. It is manufactured using a 6-nanometer process technology and scores about 300-350 thousand points in AnTuTu.
