Bangkok: A Buddhist monastery in Thailand is left without a staff after four monks, including the abbot, failed drug tests. The incident took place in Tintaptai, Phetchaban province.
Officials said the monks were sent to a drug treatment center. They were using methamphetamine. According to the report, locals are worried about having no one to lead the rituals.
The administrators of the mutt said that new monks would be brought in. Thailand is reported to be a center for drugs, including methamphetamine.
