“Horizon Western Forbidden Land” will launch the DLC “Burning Shores” in April next year, which will only appear on the PS5 platform and will not be available on the PS4 version

SIE released the expansion content “Burning Shores” of “Horizon Western Regions Forbidden Land” for the first time at this year’s TGA. The plot describes that Aroy will face new threats and challenges after she sets foot in the south of the land of the Tinako clan.

With Burning Shores, the expansion to Horizon West, players will once again embark on Aloy’s journey as she chases an evil menace through the wilderness of Los Angeles, an overgrown and fractured city. And because of the changes in the earth’s crust, dangerous volcanic mountains have been formed here. She will embark on a treacherous new region south of the land of the Tinako clan, continuing where “Horizon Forbidden West” left off, with exciting storylines, new characters, adventures, and more. Including thorough water and air exploration on the back of a Sunwinger, she will discover a gigantic and dangerous machine lurking in the shadows of the city’s ruins. Faced with this colossal challenge, Aloy must use all of her skills. With moves to overcome.

“Burning Shores” of “Horizon Forbidden West” will be available on PlayStation 5 consoles on April 19, 2023. This also means that players of the original PS4 version of “Horizon Forbidden West” will not be able to play this DLC unless they upgrade. In order to achieve this grand vision with technology and creativity, game director Mathijs de Jonge explained that the team made a difficult decision to focus on creating a wonderful gaming experience exclusively for the PlayStation 5 console. More information will be released in the coming months.
