Detroit (USA) – Unbelievable! A 12-year-old girl is said to have poured acid on an 11-year-old after a playground argument. The young victim suffered terrible injuries. Immediately before the crime, the acid thrower is said to have received a suspicious bottle from her mother.

Little Deira Summers, 11, from Detroit wanted to go to the playground with other kids last week. But there was an argument. Deira’s cousin was fighting with another girl (12).
What happened then reports “WDIV“. The 12-year-old is said to have fetched a bottle with an unknown acid, opened it and suddenly thrown it at the children. Deira, who had nothing to do with the argument, was hit in the back, arms and legs.

The little one dragged herself home. Her clothes were already riddled with holes. “Smoke was coming out of her body from head to toe,” Dominique Summers, Deira’s mother, said to “Fox2″.
Her daughter was hospitalized with second and third degree burns. The girl had to spend three long days there. She still has severe pain when walking and has to wear a bandage. There will probably be scars forever.
Daira still has to process what happened. The family is collecting donations for her speedy recovery GoFundMe.

Daira’s family is certain: the twelve-year-old’s mother is said to have instigated her daughter to commit the completely senseless act.
“Her mom was at the park and gave her the chemical,” Dominique Summers said in Interview with “Fox2”. “That’s what you get if you mess with my daughter,” says Daira’s mother, who is said to have called out after her daughter’s insane act.
Prosecutor Kym Worthy wants to pursue the tough allegations consistently. “There is no excuse for that,” she said in a statement.

The alleged acid thrower has now been arrested and charged with dangerous bodily harm – in the US state of Michigan there is no criminal responsibility, even children can go to jail.
Until the trial, however, the 12-year-old remains free with conditions – she must wear ankle bracelets and is not allowed to approach Deira or other witnesses. A deposit of the equivalent of 9000 euros was deposited.
