Franz Aichhorn (61) was one of the greats of the Salzburg gastronomy scene for decades. In the 1990s, he cooked up three toques in his restaurant in Kleinarl. From 1986 to 2019, “das Aichhorn” attracted gourmets from Salzburg and beyond to the Pongau. The restaurant now only opens on a daily basis for private parties, and there is no longer an à la carte service.
