The goalkeeper of Estudiantes hit the fence, after the 3-2 victory in Parque Patricios.
Huracán and Estudiantes starred in a very heated match at the Palacio Ducó, where Pincha won 3-2, on the second date of Zone B of the Professional League Cup. To such an extent that Mariano Andújar ended up fighting with the fans of the Globe.
The experienced goalkeeper of the Lion – who received insults throughout the 90 minutes – reacted at the end of the match: he threw blows at the fence of the popular venue. According to him, the fans would have insulted his father, who died several years ago, which caused the fury of the footballer.

For this episode, Prosecutors of the City of Buenos Aires made a contravention against Mariano Andújar. For his part, referee Jorge Baliño -who performed poorly in the match- he did not include this situation in his match report. The tense relationship between Huracán fans and Mariano Andújar
Mariano Andújar emerged from the Inferiores de Huracán and even sympathizes with the Globe, but he began to be resisted by fans in the last decade. “It was because I identified a lot with Estudiantes”, he explained in an interview with TyC Sports in 2020.
