Hot temperatures and moderate northerly winds are forecast

Asuncion, IP Agency.- The National Meteorological Directorate announces a warm to hot day with mostly cloudy skies and moderate winds from the north.

The dawn on Friday is expected to be warm, but in the afternoon it will become hot, with moderate winds from the north.

Maximum temperatures are expected to be between 31 and 35 degrees in the centre, south and east of the country, while in the far north of the Eastern region and Chaco, maximum temperatures are expected to exceed 37 degrees.

For Saturday, the Meteorological Service reports the arrival of a cold front, which will cause the winds to shift to the south and subsequently lower temperatures.

This change would be accompanied by scattered showers, which could occasionally cause electrical activity in the south of the country. These conditions tend to improve during the course of the day on Sunday.

The drop in temperatures is expected to be more pronounced between Sunday and Monday, with minimum temperatures around 11 degrees. However, temperatures are expected to rise rapidly over the following days.
