Vienna – The ups and downs in energy prices continue. In August, prices for household energy rose once more, by 4.0 percent compared to the previous month of July and by 7.2 percent compared to August 2022, shows the energy price index (EPI) calculated by the Energy Agency. “Despite government relief measures, we can once once more see increased dynamism in the end customer markets,” said the managing director of the Austrian Energy Agency, Franz Angerer.
