Due to the prices and scarcity of housing, living under one roof has become a luxury for some people in Montreal. See the testimony of this lady who is desperately trying to find a new home.

Johanne Lalonde, 62, lives with her daughter and three children in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough.
However, his daughter no longer has the means to accommodate him.
“I don’t know where I’m going to sleep tonight. I looked everywhere for an apartment that would be within my budget and I am unable to find one. It’s difficult,” she said in an interview with TVA Nouvelles on Saturday.
Two weeks before Christmas, Ms. Lalonde claims to have been put on the street by her landlord. She was paying $710 a month for her one-bedroom unit. Since that time, she has had no fixed address.
The lady also has a dog, which complicates her research.
“I had a hip injury and my dog helps me walk and soothes me,” she explains.
From this evening, sleeping in the street is the only option that seems possible to him.
“I’m so scared,” she said, tears in her eyes.
