Laccommodation: is there a pilot on the plane? Monday, June 5, the National Council for the Refoundation (CNR) housing unveiled the conclusions of its latest report: two hundred measures supposed to stem the housing crisis and soften the tortuous path that leads to property.

Alas, the remedy threatens more to kill the patient than to cure him. With increasingly scarce and increasingly expensive land, the cost of housing is likely to skyrocket, further distancing the dream of home ownership for many French people. Not ideal for a country whose social pressure cooker has overflowed several times recently…
