Houston : Amtul Monin Amir, 19, a spring woman reported missing from Galveston, has been found safe, according to the Texas Center for the Missing. No further information has been released.

Police had sought the public’s help in locating the missing woman. Momin was at Pleasure Pier for an event with members of her church, police said. She went to her car to change her shoes after getting on the water ride shortly before she disappeared, Galveston police said. Momin was reported missing two hours later and some of her belongings were found near her vehicle, authorities said. Amtul Momin was last seen walking to her vehicle around 7:30 p.m. near a Wendy’s at Seawall Boulevard and 24th Street on Saturday after visiting the historic waterfront complex.
