This year’s Architecture Biennale in Venice is focusing on the world’s great challenges. The field of architecture – itself a major cause of the climate crisis through soil sealing, resource consumption, poor working conditions and discrimination – shows both traditional solutions such as earth building and natural air conditioning, but also futuristic visions in the Biennale.
