Nahed Sharif, an Egyptian actress, was born on January 1, 1942 in the city of Beni Suef, Al Wasta Center.

After the state of stagnation and artistic bankruptcy that dominated Egyptian cinema after the 1967 setback, Nahed Sherif moved with many Egyptian artists to the Lebanese cinema in that period, where Nahed Sherif took a very difficult path, especially as she was the first Egyptian actress to appear completely naked in movie

Her personal life The artist “Nahed Sharif” was married 3 times, the first marriage was from her discoverer, the director, “Hussein Helmy Al-Mohandes”, and he was more than 20 years older than her, and Nahed Sharif was 18 years old at the time. who was 25 years older than her, especially since she fell in love with him while they were working together in the movie “Under the City Sky”,
But Kamal Al-Shennawi offered her to marry secretly after their participation in the movie “Women of the Night” in 1973, and she accepted Nahed Sharif at first, then rebelled against being a second wife and the separation took place, and her third marriage was, through her presence in Beirut, from the Lebanese gambler “Edward Jerjian”. And who died by suicide in Cairo, and she gave birth to her only daughter, Lina.
Her illness Nahed Sharif was diagnosed with breast cancer at the height of her fame, as she was at that time married to her third Lebanese husband, but he abandoned her, and she spent all her money on treatment, and returned to Egypt and resorted to her ex-husband, “Kamal El-Shennawy”, where he was able to get her a A decision was made for treatment at the expense of the state, and she traveled to Sweden and had a successful surgery there, then returned to Egypt, but her health condition deteriorated, then she traveled to London with the necessity of surgery, so she had to work and intensify her artistic activity.
And when she traveled, she asked her Lebanese husband to accompany her, but he refused and took advantage of her illness to collect financial aid under the pretext of treating her. Health has become bad and has no cure, and indeed she has returned to Cairo.
She completed her role in the movie “Morsi Over Morsi Under”, but she could not complete it and the disease worsened, and she entered the Maadi Armed Forces Hospital, until she passed away on April 7, 1981, at the age of 39.
